“It’s the Beat” is a variety show that will feature interviews with national and local media stars,” explains Javitch. “I am thrilled that Jodi Vinci, television, radio and corporate voiceover talent and lifelong friend will add her unique blend of comedy and insight to each show.  “It’s the Beat” will also feature some of my original songs as well those of aspiring and well-known artists.”   Javitch added.

Karen Sokolof Javitch has raised over $280,000 for national and local charities though her original music and musicals.  Her shows, including one about the late Princess Diana, have been performed in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, St. Louis as well as Omaha. They have featured such prominent actors as John Beasley and New York actress and singer Dani Burr and the American Idol Maynard Triplets.  She has won the TAG (Theater Arts Guild) Award for best new musical two times. Her songs are also sung by children in schools around the country.   Her musical arranger for her 13 CD’s is Chuck Penington from Mannheim Steamroller. She has songs in two movies and one of Karen’s you tube videos is approaching 3 million views!

 

Jody Vinci has had over 25 years of executive management experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry.   She has done national voiceovers for Chase Bank, McDonalds, First Data and Mutual of Omaha.  Jody also appeared in 3 movies:  ‘About Schmidt’, ‘Citizen Ruth’ and ‘Lucky’.
