My song tells the rest of the country what a great city Omaha is,” Javitch explained. “A video version is broadcast on Omaha TV during the Warren Buffet annual Berkshire meetings, so why shouldn’t the rest of the country know about us as Peyton Manning screams out “Omaha-Omaha!”

 

“So many influential magazines have listed Omaha as a great place to raise families and start a business, noting that the cost of living is low and so many other positives. Being born and raised in Omaha, I say in my song that Omaha “lives in my heart and my soul.”

 

Grammy award-winner Chuck Penington of Manheim Steamroller adds his musical prowess and expertise to complement Karen’s insightful lyrics and catchy melody.

 

Karen has released 13 CD’s, written 4 musicals and was the creator was co-host of a popular Omaha radio show, “It’s the Beat.” She has raised over $350,000 for national and local charities though her original music. Her musicals, including “Princess Diana”, have been performed all over the country. She has won the TAG (Theater Arts Guild) Award two times and recently she received honorable mention in the ‘Song of the Year’ contest for her song, “It’s a Steve Jobs’ World!” Karen’s music includes songs about exercising and good health, celebrities, holidays, political figures, children, math, patriotism, love and family. Her songs are for anyone between the ages of 5 to 105!
